will there be a Hubble set?
will there be a Hubble set?
Is there going to be a set to build the Hubble telescope?
one of the downloads on legospace.com shows it, but hadnt seen it in any set.

I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!
Re: will there be a Hubble set?
Interesting, hadn't caught that... I wonder if it will be a promo baggie set or a part of a larger set... Maybe even one of the sets in the new Brickmaster replacement.
Re: will there be a Hubble set?
It would would make more sense to be a promo/impluse set, than part of a bigger set, since a tiny one is already with the shuttle 3367.
Definitely could be part of the Masterbuilder program.
Just wish LEGO would get the space sets out in the US already!

Re: will there be a Hubble set?
I'm leaning towards a MasterBuilder set. It seems like this would be a bit bigger than an impulse set, and we would've seen it with one of the other sets already unveiled if it were included with them. There hasn't been any news of a second wave of this sub-theme, but if there is one, it could be a part of that wave, I suppose.
Re: will there be a Hubble set?
It's a possibility and could make for a great promo (that was surprisingly well hidden).

Impulse set most likely, either that or just a little goody treat thrown in there. It looks like you could make it yourself though. It doesn't seem complicated at all.

You'd still have to wait for the new space sets for those trans-light blue tiles.legitimatealex wrote:Impulse set most likely, either that or just a little goody treat thrown in there. It looks like you could make it yourself though. It doesn't seem complicated at all.

Re: will there be a Hubble set?
I would like to get this set for my friend. He worked on the Hubble program for a few years.
Re: will there be a Hubble set?
I don't know if we're really going to get a Hubble Telescope set, it's still conjecture. It looks like it might be easy enough to construct - I'll see if I can cobble one together in Digital Designer and let you know what pieces I used.
