Greetings from the Capitol Area of California
Looking at all the new people from Cali I figured I needed to make my subject a bit different. :D
My wife and I are both AFOLs. I recently became the VP of my local LUG. I've been writing for a while on The Brick Blogger and saw a notice for a contest held on this site.
Since I've been amazed at the building style of the Mini Modulars and that's exactly what the new contest seemed to help expand I knew I had to join.
I spend most of my time writing reviews on Suite101 about LEGO articles which is how I got connected to write for The Brick Blogger. You can find my profile page with links to my reviews for Suite101 http://william-reed.suite101.com/. If you want to check out my stuff on The Brick Blogger I'd suggest going there and look for William Reed under contributing writers.
I also recently published my first novel. It's currently available on Amazon. Here is the link http://www.amazon.com/Cleric-humoristic ... 984&sr=8-1. I'm currently working on a kindle version.
As for what I like to build...I'm a big fan of the Castle theme, but have been expanded in every direction imaginable. I personally like projects that challenge me.
I'm always excited to talk with other LEGO fans no matter what their age is and love to get a deal on LEGO whenever I can. I even like to share the opportunities with others in my LUG.
Hope to post on some other threads soon!
Will

Re: Greetings from the Capitol Area of California
Thanks for the warm welcome.
I already found TNB a great asset. Thanks to the availability thread I found out that the members of my LUG should probably get together and place an order to Europe for a set we were all waiting for. This will help us split the shipping.
Man, I love deals!
:D
