I'll be in for the A-Wing and Rancor Pit, but can do without the others =\

Im very surprised there aren't like 3,000 comments about this by now!

Love the battle packs :) New box design seems a bit cartooney?

I must admit, the box art is really good. However, too many sets from the prequels, clone wars and video games. And how many A-Wings does one need?

I agree with this. To many non-movie sets. I'll be getting the rancor pit to attach to Jabbas Palace but other than that I'll probably pass.

Maybe I'll get the A wing much later if it is a deep discount...I feel about the A wing the same way I feel about the Gungan Sub. I still don't have the sub. Haven't found it cheap enough yet.

That's ok though because I will be buying all the hobbit sets. Prior to LotR star wars was my favorite theme. In the last year there has been a shift. A lot of it is because the star wars sets are clone wars or the old republic sets that don't interest me.

I'll buy OT sets for sure and I'm also cool with Old Republic, but still not in to PT/Clone Wars merchandise and probably will never be. Looking forward to the pre-IV show.

I have to agree that the box art is way cooler, Yoda beats Darth Maul any day.

I'm wondering if anyone has seen a back of the box pic? I bet it shows how the rancor pit attaches to jabbas palace officially. I have seen a couple different photoshopped pics but nothing legitimate.

The A-Wing and Z-95 are both spectacular, they put the Republic Striker Class Starfighter to shame! Are those 1x10 slopes in dark red on the Z-95's nose??? Looks like they may be on the A-Wing as well! Definitely picking those up.

It does look like 1x10 slopes on the front of the z-95, but after looking at some other larger pictures on another lego site it appears the A-wing front end is straight and blocky, just slightly recessed. Hard to be certain on these prelim pictures though!

I suppose it could be just tiles, but I'm pretty sure there are at least two curved 1x10s, if not four! It looks like two in the central recessed area, and two more one stud forward between them and the outer white 3x10 wedges. The curve of a 1x10 slope matches the curve of a 3x10 wedge, and it doesn't look like there's any gap between the wedges and the dark red portion next to them. Then the recessed area follows the same contour.

EDIT: Discovered secondary images that everyone seems to be ignoring. There's a DropBox Gallery of the SW sets. They're definitely 1x10 slopes on the A-Wing.

I'm totally digging the A-wing because I don't have one. $30 you think?

Agree with many of you... Can't stand the predominance of non-original-trilogy sets.

Does anyone know if the Droidekas are a flimsy build, like the regular droids? If not, very cool battle pack.

Wow. This stinks. I was hoping for so much more. What happened to good old fashioned LEGO Star Wars sets? These new sets have barely excite me at all. They just don't have that true awesomeness like the 7930 Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship had. That set came out over a year ago and it's still #2,068 in the Toys & Games category on Amazon. The last couple waves of sets weren't antwhere near this bad. All I have to look forward to in this wave is a Pong Krell fig. Ebay, here I come.
LEGO, please up your standards as I don't wish to lower mine.

I agree, I'm not very impressed with this year's release.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Loving the heavy cannon, AT-RT, A-wing and the BARC speeder.

The pricing is through the roof though.

75005 Rancor pit is $70 ( )
75013 heavy cannon is $60 ( )
75012 BARC speeder is $30
75004 Z-95 is $50
75003 A-wing is $30

75012/13 are also store exclusives.

Wooo-Hooo! I love this time of year! Pics are leaking and sets are coming.
First up, if you want to see/buy the LEGO Pong Krell fig from the upcoming 75004 Z-95 Headhunter set, go to Ebay.com and search " lego pong krell ".

Also, a post on FBTB informs that a Dutch etailer ( bol.com ) has listed great quality pics at their site. Here a link to the post, which shows the pics: http://www.fbtb.net/2012/11/16/star-war ... more-18701" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; :-D

It seems most of these sets were designed more for mini figure availability (i.e. Rex, Ackbar, etc.) than for actual building...I mean look at the size of those battle packs! ._.
